Kennedi's Birthday

(day of her blessing 6 weeks old -cant believe how time flies)

The little green fish was her cake and the "school of fish" cupcakes were for everyone else.

So Kennedi is almost one. Her birthday is the 26th and I can not believe that she is already one. On Sunday we had family over and celebrated her birthday. I made some cupcakes into fish and her own fish cake to destroy. She really wasn't into the cake and was more fascinated or annoyed with the frosting. I don't know if she exactly wanted to wipe it all off or liked playing with it. I think she ate like 5 bites of cake. She is so funny and so different from Weston. She is starting to get her first teeth and will probably get them soon. She is starting to walk more - 6 steps is the record so far and talking a little. She is just such an easy going baby and really finds her own entertainment and doesn't need anyones help. I am so glad she is part of our family - even with the red hair :)

Christmas

Here is Kennedi in our cupboard of toys she figured out how to climb up into the cupboard with a stool. No coaching involved - just found her like that. She just does her own thing and doesn't need help.

For Christmas we were down in California and we decided to go to Sea World since in April when we went down we got a year pass for the same price as a day pass. We left Kennedi with my mom and just took Weston. There was no one there and so was fantastic. Weston was telling us where we needed to go on the map.
Christmas morning at my brother (Mike's) house. All kids right before they saw what Santa brought.
Weston and Zack playing shuffle board at my parents house. Weston loved being with all his cousins. Can you believe they are wearing shorts in December. What a life!
So I guess I have posted for a while cause I do not understand how this works with posting pictures and stuff. We went down to California for Christmas. We hadn't been down for Christmas for at least 3 years; last time we went Weston wasn't even born. It was fun to be with my family but didn't get much sleep - my kids decide to not sleep thru the night once. Weston I think was scared and crawled in bed with us every night. So we were glad to get home into our own beds. On the way home though (only 80 miles til home) our car broke down and we had to get towed all the way home. Kennedi now cries every time she gets into her car seat.
